Always Open With Dave Koechner
We were tasked by Denny’s to create content that appealed to a younger college demographic while reinforcing the brand strategy. We created ‘Always Open with Dave Koechner’, a comedy web-series where Dave interviewed celebrities over a Denny’s breakfast. The series featured Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Jason Bateman, Jessica Biel, Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Sarah Silverman, Chris Pratt and Kristen Bell.
The campaign was a major success and won a Cannes Lion in the Branded Content & Entertainment category. The series also exceeded all of Denny’s expectations, doubling brand perception from 16 to 32 as measured by brandindex. The series garnered over 10 million views and is a great example of how to use celebrities and influencers in brand-friendly content.
